Moss Report on Endometrial Cancer

Alternative & Conventional Endometrial Cancer Treatments (2019 Update)

What’s New In Endometrial Cancer Treatment

Based on WHI observational study, weight loss in postmenopausal women is associated with a lower endometrialcancer risk. Discussion of the new study of endometrial carcinoma treatment with progestins rather than hysterectomy in womenwho have the lowest stage of disease. James Allison, PhD, is the head of immunology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. While at the University of California, Berkeley, he invented an important new class of medications called “immune checkpoint inhibitors.” Allison is currently working on combining these medications with cancer-killing viruses, such as Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) vaccines. These are already available at several foreign clinics. One of the most significant advances of recent years has been the development and FDA approval of an anti-cancer virus vaccine, Reolysin® (pelareorep).

The 2019 Moss Report discusses this new medicine and its associated clinical trials.

Endometrial Cancer Treatment

The Moss Report on Endometrial Cancer begins with a discussion of symptoms, diagnosis, stages and conventional oncology’s understanding and treatment of endometrium cancer. This includes such topics as surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone treatment, targeted therapy, and other new treatments. The report also discusses new innovative and alternative cancer treatment centers, in the US and abroad.

This 488-page report features a comprehensive discussion of the treatment and prevention of this cancer – from the best techniques of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy to the latest complementary and alternative (CAM) approaches. New this year is a discussion of how science is harnessing the immune system to fight these gynecological cancers. This includes very encouraging preliminary results with “immune checkpoint inhibitors”. These drugs have shown remarkable results, even in some advanced cases of the disease.

There is also an up-to-the-minute discussion of excellent results with a form of hyperthermia (or heat therapy). No patient with endometrial (uterine) cancer should be without this outstanding resource.
